Buckeye musician Steve Russell has two live gigs coming in Peoria.
The multi-instrumentalist will perform 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 5 and again on Wednesday, Sept. 30 at Sunset Bistro At The Lakes, 19260 N. Westbrook Parkway, Peoria.
Drawing from a list of more than 600 songs, Mr. Russell offers a variety of musical genres, including songs from 50s and 60s, classic and contemporary rock, new and classic country, easy listening, rhythm and blues, and more.
He sings and plays acoustic and electric guitars live along with his own custom-made backing tracks. He constructs each track, playing other instruments (drums, bass guitar, keyboards and backing vocals) separately in his home studio, assembling them into a final mix.
Mr. Russell has lived in Arizona for 42 years and performs as a solo act and with other duos/bands at various restaurants, clubs, special events, and retirement and RV communities in the greater Phoenix area.
Due to limited seating, reservations highly recommended at the September gigs in Peoria. All social distancing guidelines are followed, and masks are required upon entering the restaurant. Call 623-566-1132.
