Buckeye police on Tuesday morning took to Twitter to state  a shooting  took place on Desert Bloom St and 201st Dr, which left one deceased .

Buckeye man allegedly kills wife

Buckeye police on Tuesday morning took to Twitter to state a shooting  took place on Desert Bloom Street and 201st Drive, which left one deceased.

The Buckeye Police Department says a woman is dead after allegedly being shot by her husband who turned himself into police custody.

The names of the suspect and victim have not been released.

Authorities are asking people to avoid the area for the next several hours.
