The Buckeye Air Fair returns for a weekend of high-flying fun Feb. 17-19 at the Buckeye Municipal Airport, 3000 S. Palo Verde Road.
This year’s event features 2.5-hour airshows, Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association Fly-In, Aviation Academy and a VIP experience for a front row view of the airshow.
Eight of the best aerial acts in the country will put on two airshows:
2:30- 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18
1:30-4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19
Buckeye Air Fair Aviation Academy aimed to inspire the next generation of aviation career seekers:
Field Trip Friday - 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17. Register a fifth- through 12th-grade student to explore aviation through hands on activities, booths and guest speakers
SciTech Saturday - 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18. Explore aviation related STEAM with engaging booths and activities
Flight School Sunday - 9a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19. Learn the basics about flying and practice what you learn on flight simulators
AOPA Fly-In gives pilots access to educational content, the latest aviation technology and informational seminars throughout the weekend
The VIP Experience lets attendees catch all the high-flying action with the best seat in the house, all day refreshments, private restrooms and VIP Parking. $60 per person for one day, $85 for a two-day pass
Other family activities include hundreds of pilots from around the western U.S. showcasing their unique aircraft, historic and military static aircraft displays, great food, vendors and a Kid’s Zone.
Gates open at 9 a.m. each day. Admission is free. Parking passes are $10 if purchased online, in advance. Parking is $15 the day of the event. Credit Cards only.
