Avondale, Buckeye, Goodyear students make Oregon State honor roll

Posted

Three Southwest Valley residents are among the 7,255 Oregon State University students named to the spring 2021 honor roll.

Jordyn N. McDonald, an Avondale senior studying microbiology; Adan G. Sanders, a Buckeye junior studying kinesiology; and Jonathan E. Sangillo, a Goodyear senior studying bioengineering all were named to the honor roll.

To make the honor roll, a student must earned a B-plus (3.5) or better carry at least 12 graded hours of course work.

Oregon State is one of only two universities in the nation designated as a land, sea, space and sun grant.

It serves more than 31,000 students from across the globe through campuses in Corvallis and Bend, a marine research center in Newport and award-winning Ecampus, according to a release.

Other Arizona students on the spring 2021 honor roll hail from Casa Grande, Chandler, Mesa, Phoenix, Scottsdale, Tempe, Tucson and Yuma.
