Phoenix and the surrounding area has been selected to thank and welcome home our Vietnam War-era veterans who served during the period of Nov. 1, 1955 to May 15, 1975, according to the U.S. Department of Defense – USA Vietnam War Commemoration.

This celebration will be held at Mountain View Cemetery 7900 E. Main St. in Mesa, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 25.

This will be an event that veterans of all ages and their families will never forget.

It will be 50 years since the U.S. pulled out of Vietnam. We are truly honored to be able to organize such a memorable ceremony,

Some of the items scheduled for this celebration include:

  • Speakers from the U.S. Department of Defense.
  • Veterans Heritage Project students.
  • Navy JROTC Color Guard.
  • Sixth grade Patterson Elementary Students.
  • U.S. Army Field Band (Six-String Soldiers).
  • Pinning ceremony with the U.S. Department of Defense, USA Vietnam War Commemoration.
  • 100 Informational booths for veterans.

We are also looking for sponsors to help with the expenses of this event. All sponsors will be recognized for their sponsorship in the event in the advertising and at the event itself.

We are also inviting informational, educational and companies that work with veterans who would like to host an informational booth.

Please let me know if you or someone you know are interested in either helping to sponsor this well-deserved event and/or would like a booth. I can be contacted at veteranseventsaz@gmail.com or call me at 520-280-4715.
