Vote ‘no’ on 336-unit Apache Junction rental community’s CUP appeal

Concerning the letter "Approve the downtown multifamily development in Apache Junction":

Where did you come from? Do you live in this area? If you did, you would never agree to this being built at this location.

Are you aware of the traffic issues we have in this area? If you have not actually driven in this area, from November to April, then you are clueless. There is already a huge traffic issue.

We have about 1,500 residents within that area who travel the 15 mph Plaza Drive Street. At the end of that street is Superstition Boulevard and that does not have a stoplight. We already wait up to 15 minutes to access it. Imagine what another 600-plus cars would do.

I speak for many of the residents in that area and it would be a devastating, unnecessary thing to do. Why can’t they build single family homes, that are affordable for people to buy, and they can feel a sense of accomplishment. Vote “no” on the appeal.
