Volunteer opportunities from bus loading to finish-line assistance are available for the Sunday, Feb. 16, Lost Dutchman Marathon in Apache Junction.

Volunteers are also needed at Prospector Park and the Lost Dutchman Rodeo Grounds at the finish-line medical tent (medical experience preferred), food preparation and distribution, registration and packet pickup, and for T-shirt exchange, according to a release.

“Join us in making the Lost Dutchman Marathon a success. This inspiring event supports local youth organizations that assist economically disadvantaged children. Since its inception in 2002, the marathon has donated over $900,000 to these important programs,” it states. “This is a great opportunity to give back, connect with the community, and contribute to a celebrated Arizona tradition.”
