The community is invited to join us on Saturday, March 22, for our spring into March book sale and silent auction fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the San Tan Valley Library.
It will be in the Bronze Room of the library, 31505 N. Schnepf Road in San Tan Valley.
This highly anticipated event will offer book lovers, puzzle enthusiasts and community supporters the opportunity to shop thousands of books, CDs, puzzles, games and DVDs across all genres. Whether you’re a fiction fanatic, a mystery lover, or searching for children’s books, there will be something for everyone.
Friends of the Library has teamed up with Military Moms in QC/STV to gather books for Books4Troops, a program that sends reading materials to service members overseas. Attendees will be asked to purchase a soft cover book to donate, supporting our troops with a much-needed escape through reading. The books will be sent out to men and women serving in the military later this year and also donated to the San Tan Valley Veterans’ Center.
One of the standout attractions of the event is the “Give a Gnome a Home” silent auction, where bidders can win original ceramic artwork, gnome yard art that is 42 inches by 42 inches, and other one-of-a-kind pieces. The unique gnome-themed items are sure to capture the imagination, with all auction proceeds supporting public programs at the San Tan Valley Library.
Event Highlights:
This year’s spring into March book Sale is San Tan Valley’s largest book sale of the year — and your participation directly benefits local community programs. All proceeds will go toward funding enriching library programs for people of all ages, ensuring that the San Tan Valley Library continues to serve as a vital educational and cultural hub for the community.
Bring your family, friends, and neighbors to discover hidden literary treasures, bid on unique silent auction items, and give back to both our local community and our troops. Every purchase and donation makes a positive impact.
Friends of the Library, San Tan Valley, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and enhancing the San Tan Valley Library’s programs and services. We hold monthly meetings on the third Tuesday of each month in the Bronze Room, which is across from the library in the Pinal County Administrative Building. Meeting times are from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. All members and volunteers are welcome to attend and participate. We are happy to welcome new faces and new ideas from our community.

Bridgette Crosby, with three children serving in the Armed Forces, founded Military Moms in QC/STV in 2008 with the mission of supporting military families, troops and veterans. For over 17 years, this dedicated group has served as a positive connection point and a supportive community for military families in the East Valley. Military Moms has initiatives like the Books4Troops program and welcomes all supporters of our troops and veterans to join their efforts.
