Posted

Street preservation maintenance — a slurry seal — is planned from Monday, April 12, through Friday, May 7, at three Apache Junction housing subdivisions.

They are, according to a release:

  • Sunrise Canyon, bordered by Southern Avenue, Ironwood Drive, 16th Avenue and San Marcos Drive;
  • Cortez Ranch, bordered by Baseline Avenue and Cortez Road; and
  • Superstition Vista Mobile Estates and surrounding areas, bordered by Southern Avenue, Mariposa Road, 17th Avenue and Wickiup Road.

Work is planned for 6 a.m-6 p.m. Monday-Friday each week. Work will result in parking restrictions, lane restrictions and lane closures within these areas which may last up to a couple days as the work progresses through the subdivisions.

This work will be coordinated around pre-existing trash service schedules.

Questions regarding the work should be directed to 480-982-1055.
