Singers bring holiday harmony to East Valley

The East Valley Harmonizers, student choral ensembles from Desert Ridge and Higley High schools and the quartet Yes Dear will perform holiday classics on Dec. 9 in Mesa.

The groups will sing from 3 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. at Desert Ridge High School, 10045 E. Madero Ave. in Mesa.

A tradition in many barbershop shows is to feature a popular quartet from the Barbershop Harmony Society’s annual round of judged contests, according to a release.  This year’s featured guest quartet is Yes Dear, the recently crowned 2023 champions of the Far Western District.

“We have been pleased to have hosted past district champions on our shows, and our audiences rave about them. This holiday season, we are very excited to host these fine young singers following their recent gold medal” Terry Morrison, show chairman, said.

“They are a real crowd pleaser and have received standing ovations at both the Arizona Division and Far Western District contests.”

Harmony for the Holidays ticket prices range from $5 to $25.  For more: https://evbarbershop.com/
