Drivers in the Florence/Coolidge area will be facing traffic delays.

Starting Monday, March 6 to Easter Sunday, April 9, Attaway Road will be closed at State Route 287 north for half a mile for construction.

In a Facebook posting, the Florence Independent Unified School District stated that that the detour could affect some school bus routes and added that “we kindly ask your patience and understanding as we follow our ‘safety before schedule’ motto.”
