Registration accepted for lap swimming at Apache Junction's pool

Lap swimming --- a great way to exercise, especially in the Arizona heat --- is being offered at the City of Apache Junction's community pool.
Whether you are a seasoned lap swimmer, a newcomer to the water or like to use the resistance to water jog, it’s a great total body workout that can help you de-stress and gives you energy. It can easily be done while physical distancing from others as well as from the staff, according to a release.
Superstition Shadows Aquatic Center, 1091 W. Southern Ave., is offering morning, midday and evening lap swim hours. New sessions begin every two weeks, but you can register at any time, space permitted, at ajcity.net/onlinereg or in person at the Apache Junction Multi-Generational Center, 1035 N. Idaho Road.
