Items on the ballot for Apache Junction and Gold Canyon residents include:
Five candidates vying for two Apache Junction Unified School District governing board seats — Chelsea Connolly, Valerie Fleming, Barbara Kanzler, Dena Kimble and Gail Ross; and
Proposition 469, which would create a 20-year half-cent sales tax that would provide a projected $1.096 billion in transportation funding for the Pinal Regional Transportation Plan.
