Pet adoptions, products and services, various pet contests, games and demonstrations will be held at a pet appreciation event 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, Feb. 18, at Superstition Foothills Baptist Church, 6320 S. Kings Ranch Road in Gold Canyon.

Gold Canyon Pet Services LLC and Gold Canyon Strong will be cosponsoring.

“Come join us for a wonderful event to promote community awareness and sharing of our beloved pets,” according to a release. “We welcome the community, vendors, veterinarians, state, Pinal County Animal Care and Control, and city agencies, and all pet interest groups who have a positive message to share regarding our treasured pets.”

Vendors are welcome. Call Terrilyn Klucar at 602-430-1626 for a reservation.

“For vendors: We’d love to have you come join us. You can have a free space for a table, awning or just a small space to set up your display. There is no charge. This is not limited to just dogs, so bring your cats, turtles, or exotic friends of the animal world — contained, please. Space is limited to a section of our parking lot, so please let us know as soon as possible what your space requirements will be. Two parking spaces is typical for each,” the release states.
