New Frontiers for Lifelong Learning will hold its spring open house on 1-3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, at Mesa Community College Red Mountain Campus.

It will be in the second-floor Community Room of the Mesquite Building, 7110 East McKellips Road in Mesa.

NFLL is a peer-led, self directed organization of more than 400 members operating under the sponsorship of Mesa Community College, according to a release.

Classes usually meet one time for one to two hours and in some cases over a period of a few weeks. There are no tests, grades or credits to worry about. Classes meet at various MCC campuses and other community locations.

Other social opportunities such as tours, social lunches, concerts, outdoor hiking, theatre productions , are also available. As an NFLL member you are given an MCC student ID card which gives you student discounts on the MCC campus and in the community, the release states.

Fees are $60 for each semester or $80 for the whole year. After enrolling at the open house, a member can register for as many classes as his or her schedule will allow.

Registration begins Jan. 28 at the NFLL website. Go to newfrontiers.mesacc.edu or call 480-461-7497.
