Nelson: Biden is an ‘emperor,’ no healer for America

Posted

I can’t help but make this comparison today to the childhood fable that seems to be unfolding right before our eyes.

President Biden on his first day in office systematically signed away so much of the progress and prosperity that the country was enjoying under the Trump administration.

Of course this made President Biden’s ego soar as he was praised by his left-wing advisers for his decisive approach to healing the country.

There were many unscrupulous powers though hidden within this Democratic Party’s Trojan horse, the one ridden by President Biden on his inauguration day. Unfortunately this horse sent the entire country into the free fall we are experiencing now, just a year and a half later. And Biden refuses to let go of the reins.

Is this emperor so blind that he can’t see the damage that has been done in such a short time?

The stock market is in chaos, gas prices are soaring, grocery shelves are empty, inflation is drowning our entire economy and the Southern border is being overrun.

Worst of all, this makes our country appear weak and in disarray on the world stage.

This emperor needs to take his blindfolds off. He is not the great healer he was purported to be, instead he has divided the country as never before since the Civil War.

There is an ironic light at the end of the tunnel though as the midterms approach. Maybe this president is going to unite the country after all.

Maybe the American people will bring their own Trojan horse to the polls and choose a new path as we will then begin the journey to new leadership in 2024.
