First following recreational-use designation in Arizona

The Mint Dispensary plans to celebrate 4/20 in a big way, from April 16-20, at its Tempe, Mesa and Phoenix locations about three months after Arizona dispensaries received the green light to serve both medical cardholders and recreational customers ages 21 and up.
The retail locations will host socially distanced celebrations with free uninfused food, games and giveaways. In addition, from now until April 20, customers who visit any of the three retail locations will have the opportunity to enter to win a Ford Mustang GT, according to a release.
The three locations are:
17036 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix 85032;
5210 S. Priest Drive, Tempe 85283; and
330 E. Southern Ave., Mesa 85210.
At its north Phoenix location on April 20, the business will make a $2,500 donation to local breast cancer nonprofit Check for a Lump at noon and announce the winner of its Ford Mustang GT giveaway at 4:20 p.m.
In addition to the car giveaway, each retail location will have at least one giveaway every five minutes, with big prizes given away every 15 minutes. A host of vendors will also hand out free cannabis swag to customers, while employees distribute products inside, the release states.
The Mint is also in the middle of a hiring blitz to fill a wide range of retail and administrative positions. Applicants are encouraged to email a cover letter and resume to Jobs@TheMintDispensary.com. Interviews will take place virtually and candidates could be offered a job the same day.
The Mint operates state-of-the-art cannabis facilities across the country. For more information, go to mintdeals.com, Facebook @TheMintDispensary, Instagram @TheMintDispensary or YouTube @The Mint Dispensaries.
