The city of Apache Junction is holding a household hazardous waste event 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 22.
The event at the public works yard, 575 E. Baseline Ave., provides residents with a free and responsible way to dispose of household hazardous waste, according to a release.
The city will be accepting the following residential household hazardous waste materials:

Expect long wait times – this event is highly attended.
It is open only to residents within the corporate city limits of Apache Junction and those living in Pinal County north and east of Apache Junction, including Gold Canyon.
