Horace Henry "Hank" Sheffer, III

Born in Baltimore, Maryland on August 27, 1946, to Horace Henry Sheffer, Jr. and Jean Eleanor Royer Sheffer, Hank Sheffer passed away seventy-six years later on October 3rd. Preceeded in death by his parents and step-son, Nathan Haverstock. Hank is survived by his wife, Sharyn, his sister Deb McClellen, his brother Jacob (Judi), his son Jacob (Colleen), his daughters Amanda Brady (Bobby) and Heather Keller (Brian), step-sons John Schoenwolf (Tanya), Anthony Schoenwolf (Deb), and Aaron Alger; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Navy veteran, musician, stuntman, actor, historian, author, storyteller, Hank was known by many as The Old Storyteller. He was a graduate of Valley Forge Military Academy and Central Arizona College. Some of his fondest memories came from playing his trumpet in the navy band with Bruce Merrill and Guy Kramer and later with Larry Clark at Fillys Roadhouse. In recent years, Hank's enjoyed helping with Zao Theatre at Centerstage Church and making videos with Larry Hedrick for Mysteries of the Superstitions. All who knew Hank are welcome to join his family for a Celebration of Life at 6:30p.m., Thursday, November 17, 2022, at Centerstage Church, 6338 S. Kings Ranch Rd, Gold Canyon.
