Gold Canyon Business Fair Nov. 21

The Gold Canyon Business Fair is 8 a.m.-noon Saturday, Nov. 21, within the large outdoor courtyard at Gold Canyon Community Church, 5810 S. Alameda Road in Gold Canyon.

“Come to support your struggling local businesses, and get those home projects started, window coverings, carpet and tile, and much more for your inside and outside projects,” Pam Burks, event coordinators with Chris Bukovac, said.

“There will also be services, products and gifts you want and need. Looking to sell your home, or buy a new home? Your Gold Canyon Realtors will be there. Our Gold Canyon Realtors are amazing people they support your community in so many ways, they are our trusted neighbors and friends,” Ms. Burks said.

The event is sponsored by the Gold Canyon Business Association and will include entertainment, including from Tina Vale, a vocalist, writer and poet who can go from contemporary pop, classics and rock-n-roll to country

“Spin the wheel” to win a door prize valued at $25 or more. Door prizes are provided by each attending business.

Brown Bear BBQ will be serving breakfast and lunch, It will be on the perimeter of the parking lot, and will be open by 7 a.m.. Go to https://www.brownbearbbq.com to view the menu.

Gecko Expresso will be serving coffee within the event courtyard.

“There will be many of your favorite businesses along with several new ones. Come out and see all the services, products, gifts and more,” Ms. Burks said. “Great effort has been made to make this experience as safe as possible. Hatfield Medical Group will be providing temperature checks at the entrance, all businesses will be 6 feet apart, and business (representatives) will wear face shields/masks as needed to the level of comfort between the attendees and vendors.”

For businesses that want to participate, the cost for a space is $40, which includes a $10 donation to Gold Canyon Lions for one plastic face shield.
