Gold Canyon Arts Council presents ‘The Rhythm of the Dance’

Posted

Enjoy a virtual streaming experience as the National Dance Company of Ireland performs “The Rhythm of the Dance” at 7 p.m. Friday, March 19. It will also be available for viewing through April.

This exciting Irish dance troupe’s performance comes from the Odessa Opera House on the beautiful shores of the Black Sea. It is internationally rated as one of the most popular Irish step dance shows in the world featuring World and Irish champion dancers and some of the finest musicians and singers. This dance and music extravaganza takes audiences on an exhilarating and exciting energy-packed trip through the ages.

To view this concert, simply go to goldcanyonarts.org and click on “View Concert.” There is no charge; however, donations will be appreciated. The performance has been specifically edited for the Gold Canyon Arts Council in cooperation with Producers Inc.

This is the last of GCAC’s five-part virtual concert series which was created in lieu of our canceled 2020-21 Canyon Sounds Performance Series. We thank our grantors, business sponsors, and members whose contributions made this possible.

The Gold Canyon Art’s Council’s core mission is its arts education program for underserved students in regional schools, providing:

  • Performing artist in-school concerts, workshops, and master classes
  • Classical guitar lessons and instruments
  • Visual arts lessons and supplies
