Funding opportunity for Apache Junction nonprofits

The city of Apache Junction Health and Human Services Commission is accepting applications for fiscal year 2025-26 funding beginning Jan. 1, 2025.

If your 501(c)(3) organization serves Apache Junction residents, this is an opportunity to apply for vital funding to support your programs and services.

The application period is Jan. 1-31 for local nonprofits with a mission to serve Apache Junction residents.

Applications must include the following:

  • Most recent audit report or profit and loss statement
  • Recent financial statement
  • Detailed expenditure statement of previous city funding (if applicable)
  • Source and amount of funding from all other sources
  • Membership fees, dues and private contributions
  • Proof of nonprofit status (IRS Letter of Determination)
  • Articles of incorporation and bylaws
  • Names and addresses of current board members
  • Client service information specific to Apache Junction residents

Applications are to be reviewed in February with interviews in March and funding starting July 1.
