The city of Apache Junction is seeking bids by May 12 from qualified firms registered with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors for construction services including installation of custom playground equipment at Superstition Shadows Park.
The city of Apache Junction has been awarded a federal Community Development Block Grant through the Arizona Department of Housing for the Superstition Shadows Park improvements project.
The work includes:
three climbing structures, swings and playground equipment suitable for ages 2-12;
engineered wood fiber fall protection;
custom shade structure(s) that cover approximately 6,400 square feet; and
custom shade structure(s) that cover approximately 2,400 square feet at the Superstition Shadows Park Aquatic Center
