The Arizona Department of Transportation has scheduled a closure of State Route 24 Gateway Freeway in Mesa for ongoing pavement maintenance.
Eastbound SR 24 will be closed between Loop 202 and Ellsworth Road from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 25. The east- and westbound Loop 202 ramps to eastbound SR 24 will be closed.
For a detour, drivers may exit Loop 202 to eastbound Elliot Road and use southbound Ellsworth Road to access SR24.
ADOT advises drivers to slow down and use caution around construction personnel and equipment while work is underway.
