East Valley Institute of Technology Expo Saturday

The East Valley Institute of Technology will host its annual EVIT Expo event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m, Saturday, Jan. 27, at the EVIT Main Campus, 1601 W. Main St. in Mesa.

The free event allows the community to take trolley tours of the 65-acre campus and learn more about EVIT’s 50 career training programs for high school students and adults. About 4,000 people usually attend.

EVIT is a public technical trade school providing career training at two central Mesa campuses to East Valley high school students and Phoenix-area adults. EVIT serves the communities of Mesa, Chandler, Queen Creek, Tempe, Scottsdale, Gilbert, San Tan Valley, Ahwatukee Foothills, Cave Creek, Fountain Hills and Apache Junction. More than 6,000 students enrolled at EVIT this school year.
