Second Chance Beer Co., a “Pups First, Drinks Second” independent craft brewery based in San Diego, has partnered with its 10 Arizona commercial and retail outlets for a Toys for Pups drive to benefit the rescue dogs of Follow Your Heart Animal Rescue in Mesa.

The Mesa locations with a collection bin are Chupacabra Taproom, 14 N Robson; Mr Brews Taphouse, 1113 S. Signal Butte Road No. 106; and Que Chevere, 142 W. Main St.

The dog toy drive goes through Saturday, Dec. 31.

As part of its “Seize a pint, save a pup” pledge, Second Chance Beer Co. has contributed more than $34,000 so far in 2022 — when the goal was to give $5,000, according to secondchancebeer.com/socialimpact.

Since it opened in 2015, Second Chance Beer Co. has donated more than $257,000 to dog rescues and the communities we serve.
