Coward: Can we heal and unify if an insurrectionist is in Congress?

Posted

By refusing to recognize the results of a certified election and supporting allegations without evidence Congressman Paul Gosar encouraged the insurrectionists and seditionists on Jan. 6 to disrupt a constitutionally mandated process.

Rep. Gosar encouraged the Jan. 6 rally that stormed the capitol building and continued to agitate against the norms of our democratic process even during the insurrection.

He met with members of the Proud Boys and Oathkeepers who have been implicated in this insurrection and even told them “we are already in a civil war, we just haven’t started shooting yet.”

On Dec. 21 he met with former President Trump, Rep. Mo Brooks, Mark Meadows, Rep. Matt Gaetz, Rep. Andy Biggs and others.

What happened at this meeting in the White House?

Through these actions, Rep. Gosar has proven that he is not fit to protect and defend our constitution and needs to be removed from office by a vote of the House of Representatives per the 14th Amendment.

To find out more about the effort to activate the 14th Amendment go to RemovePaulGosar.com and there you will find a petition where you can add your name to ask Congress to expel Rep. Gosar from office.

If there are no consequences for seditious actions they will continue and the very fabric of our democratic form of government, and the ability to unify our country is not possible.
