Central Arizona College Governing Board has vacancy for Florence area

Due to resignation of Gladys Christenson, the Central Arizona College Governing Board has a vacancy for Florence Unified School District No. 1. This will be filled by the appointment of a candidate by the Pinal County Superintendent of Schools, Jill Broussard.

The successful candidate will be seated until Dec. 31, 2024.

Any eligible resident within the Community College Florence Unified School District who is interested in being appointed can at Pinal County School Superintendent’s Office website pinalcso.org by clicking the Pinal County School Governing Board Vacancy Notices in the Quicklinks.

The application can be found online but it must be printed, signed, notarized and the original mailed or hand delivered no later than 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3. A candidate can also pick up an application at the Pinal County School Superintendent’s Office at Pinal County School Office, 75 N. Bailey St., P.O. Box 769, Florence, AZ 85132; or they can contact Senior Administrative Assistant Nicole O’Brien at at 520-866-6565 or nobrien@pinalcso.org to have one sent to them.
