Canyon Sounds presents ‘Silverbells and Diamonds’ holiday show

Posted

The Canyon Sounds Performance Series continues with The Diamonds’ “Silverbells and Diamonds” holiday concert at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 17, at the Gold Canyon United Methodist Church, 6640 S. Kings Ranch Road in Gold Canyon.

From The Diamonds — the group that brought us “Little Darlin” and 16 Billboard hit records — comes a rockin’ and joyous celebration of the season.

With their velvet harmonies, the quartet will blend hits like “Why Do Fools Fall In Love,” “Silhouettes”, “Jersey Boys and Motown Medleys” with yuletide favorites like “The Most Wonderful Time of The Year,” “Happy Holidays Medley,” Mel Torme’s “The Christmas Song” and others.

Members of The Diamonds are Adam David Marino, a regional theatre singer who has performed as Richie Valens in “The Buddy Holly Story”; bass singer Jeff Dolan, who has been a member of the vocal jazz group “Beachfront Property” and the Ray Coniff Singers; Michael Lawrence, tenor, a recording artist who has been lead singer at Universal Studios in Osaka, Japan; and baritone singer Gary Owens, the vocal arranger and longest member of the quartet. Together, they strive to keep their special chemistry and unique identity.

In addition to their vocal talent, The Diamonds are excellent instrumentalists. So, get ahead of this potentially sold-out show by purchasing your tickets now.

Advance adult tickets are $30 and student tickets are $5. At the door the price is $35.

Purchase at goldcanyonarts.org or at the following ticket outlets:

  • Robin Rotella Realtors, 6641 S. Kings Ranch Road, 85118 (cash, check, credit card); and
