The Artists of the Superstitions will be hosting two art shows in February — one in Apache Junction and one in Queen Creek.
AOTS presents a show 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, at Mountain View Lutheran Church, 2122 S. Goldfield Road in Apache Junction.
“The Artists of the Superstitions invite you to our February art show, offering you a chance to attend a widely varied show and sale, at which you can browse both indoors and outside. This show is offered free to the public, so please join us for this event,” it states in a release.
AOTS presents its mid-winter show 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, at Queen Creek Olive Mill, 25062 S. Meridian Road in Queen Creek.
“(Y)ou can browse fine art offerings outside among the olive trees,” the release states.
At both art shows, AOTS artists offer their creative works in beading, dolls, fiber, glass, gourds, jewelry, metals, mixed media, mosaics, painting and drawing, photography, pottery, wood and more.
The Artists of the Superstitions is a juried art group of award-winning artists formed in 2007. As a group, they are inspired for their chosen art forms by the beautiful scenery and colors of our surrounding Sonoran Desert and the gorgeous Superstition Mountains, the release states.
The group are all local artists who support the arts with donations to local schools, it states.
