The proposed budget for fiscal year 2025-26 for the Apache Junction Water District —including proposed rates, fees and charges, and the classification and compensation plan for employees — will be discussed Tuesday.

The district board, made up of Apache Junction City Council members, is to meet at 6 p.m. May 6 in the council chambers, 300 E. Superstition Blvd. in Apache Junction.
The water district, formed by the city of Apache Junction on Aug. 2, 1994, is responsible for providing water service for a portion of the city of Apache Junction, according to www.ajwaterdistrict.org. The remaining area is served by Arizona Water Co., www.azwater.com.
