The city of Apache Junction is seeking bids for construction of the 2.6-acre off-leash dog park planned at the Pinal County complex at 575 N. Idaho Road.

Sealed bids will be accepted until 10 a.m. May 12 at the city clerk’s office, 300 E. Superstition Blvd., according to notices posted Tuesday at City Hall, the Apache Junction Public Library and the Apache Junction Multi-Generational Center.

A pre-bid meeting was held April 28 at the Apache Junction Multi-Generational Center, and all prospective bidders were invited to attend.

County basin dog park construction services being sought include: installation of grading, staking, concrete work, masonry, fencing/gates, electrical, solar lighting, irrigation system, landscaping, signage, pavilion structure and other related work.

Each bidder shall provide such information as may be required by the city as evidence of qualifications to provide the labor, materials, equipment or other services as required, the notice states.

Based on the submittals, the city will enter into a contract with a service provider for a period of six months, it states.

Bid forms and requirements are at apachejunctionaz.gov/purchasing.
