Apache Junction Public Library closure postponed

Posted

The anticipated closure of the Apache Junction Public Library, initially scheduled for Friday, May 16, and Saturday, May 17, has been postponed due to equipment shipping delays.

The library, 1177 N. Idaho Road, will remain open during its regular hours on Friday, May 16, and Saturday, May 17. The library is closed on Sundays.

AJPL was initially set to close to allow for city contractors to safely remove and replace the Distribution Board 1 Service Entrance Section.

The electrical work will be rescheduled at a later date. Once the new date is confirmed, the city will notify the community via city and AJPL websites, social media, and e-newsletter.
