Apache Junction Public Library annual report to be accepted July 7

The Apache Junction City Council on Tuesday is to acknowledge receipt of the annual report of the Apache Junction Public Library Board of Trustees for fiscal year 2019-20. The council meets at 7 p.m. July 7 in the Council Chambers, 300 E. Superstition Blvd.
A.R.S. 9-418 requires the Library Board to make an annual report to the governing body of the city on or before the first Monday of July of each year. The report was adopted and approved by the Library Board at a meeting held on June 18.
The library report includes information such as the top circulated titles --- fiction, John Grisham's "The Guardians"; non-fiction, Jessica Bruder's "Nomadland; young adult, Markus Zusak's "The Book Thief"; Children, Jeff Kinney's "Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Old School"; and movie, "John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum."
