Apache Junction library temporary closure June 6-7

The Apache Junction Public Library is at 1177 N. Idaho Road.

The Apache Junction Public Library will be closed Friday, June 6, and Saturday, June 7, for electrical upgrades.
The library, 1177 N. Idaho Road, is regularly closed on Sundays and will reopen with normal hours on Monday, June 9.
The library was initially set to close May 16-17 to allow for city contractors to safely remove and replace the Distribution Board 1 Service Entrance Section. The electrical work had to be rescheduled at a later date due to equipment shipping delays.
During the closure, the library’s mobile library will be available to community members 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, June 6, in the library’s east parking lot adjacent to the Apache Junction Multi-Generational Center. Services available at the mobile library include signing up for a library card and returning and checking out materials. Go to https://www.ajpl.org/mobile-library.
Library patrons will also have access to the library’s digital collections of audiobooks, comics, manga, magazines and streaming music at https://www.ajpl.org/digital-collections.
