Apache Junction closing several roads this week for work

The city of Apache Junction is closing or restricting several roads this week for a variety of work.
Here are this week's closures or restrictions:
Padre Road from Baseline to 39th avenues will be closed to through traffic on Tuesday, Sept. 29. There will be access to the industrial park in the area for businesses. The closure is for curb, gutter and sidewalk work at Padre and Baseline in preparation for Baseline's reconstruction planned for October.
Cactus Road from Baseline to about 300 feet north of the intersection will be closed from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30. The work also is for curb, gutter and sidewalk changes for the Baseline reconstruction project.
Winchester Road from Baseline to 38th avenues will have northbound lane restrictions from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30. The restrictions are part of curb, gutter and sidewalk work for the Baseline reconstruction project.
