AJ City Council holding strategic planning retreat June 4

The Apache Junction City Council is meeting at 8 a.m. Friday at Central Arizona College for a strategic planning retreat.

Items on the agenda are discussion of governance, infrastructure, city operations and finance, economic development, and community development.

The meeting is open to the public. It will be at CAC’s Superstition Mountain Campus, 805 S. Idaho Road. Those attending are asked to park on the west side of the building. Entrance is accessible through the north side of the building.

Participation in the retreat discussion will be limited to City Council, city staff and a retreat facilitator. Members of the public attending the retreat will need to make their own meal arrangements, according to the agenda.
