The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan ahead for lane restrictions on U.S. Highway 60 near Miami from Monday, Oct. 24, to Wednesday, Oct. 26, as crews perform lane-striping work.
Work is scheduled to occur from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. Drivers should be prepared to stop and proceed through the work zone with caution, watching for construction personnel and equipment.
The following restrictions will be in place while work is underway:
- US60 will be narrowed to one lane only with alternating east- and west-bound travel roughly between Pinto Valley Mine Road and Reppy Avenue (mileposts 240 to 244). Flaggers and a pilot truck will be on site to direct traffic through the work zone.
- Motorists should anticipate a 3-mile lane restriction while crews progress through the work zone.
Schedules are subject to change based on weather and other unforeseen factors.
