Mediacom Communications recently recognized eight employees based out of the Apache Junction Mediacom office who achieved the company’s top performance rankings for outstanding customer service over the past year.

Last month, an award ceremony was held with corporate executives, where the Apache Junction-based individuals were recognized for their high performance in 2024.

Erik Ruiz received a National Gold-level award for outstanding sales in technical support. Tammy Kowalewski earned a National Gold-level award. They were two of 40 employees companywide to receive a National Gold award.

National Silver-level awards were awarded to three employees based in Apache Junction. Maria Contreras has been employed by Mediacom since 2018 and earned the “Scorecard for Excellence” in technical support. Jessica Baumgartner received recognition for outstanding sales performance and has been employed by Mediacom for three years. Cristina Cruz has been employed by Mediacom for one year and was recognized for outstanding sales performance.

Silvia Trujillo received a National Bronze-level award for exemplary marks in sales performance over the past year. She was one of 19 employees companywide to earn a National Bronze-level award in 2024.

Robert Miller received a call center-level “Employees Choice” award for high customer service performance over the past year. Trish Karba also received a call center-level “People’s Choice” award for high-performance levels in customer service in 2024.

Companywide, Mediacom employs more than 3,500 people, and the award recipients were among 196 employees recognized for performance achievements over the past year. Award recipients receive a monetary bonus and other employee recognition.
