A missing overdue hiker — 60-year-old Kyoko Runningbear — has been found, Pinal County Sheriff’s Office reported on X.

“She has been located. She suffered heat and fall-related injuries and was taken to the hospital,” it states @PinalCSO.

Runningbear had left home around 5 a.m. Aug. 12 and her vehicle was located parked at the Cloudview trailhead in Gold Canyon. Hikers who had been, or planned to be in that area, were asked to call 520-866-5111 if they saw her, according to posts @PinalCSOon X.

“We applaud our search and rescue teams along with @Arizona_DPS Ranger for their assistance,” Sheriff Mark Lamb said on X. “Had the victim spent any more time in the desert, we may not have had this positive outcome,” it states @PinalCSO
