The Central Arizona College English and Student Services departments awarded 20 CAC students with book scholarships this fall.

Students from any major could apply. They were required to submit a 250 to 300-word essay on how CAC has helped them, as a student, achieve their educational goals. Students had to be enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours for the fall semester, achieved a grade of B or better in ENG 101 and declared a program of study or major.

“This is amazing and so very appreciated,” said student Kelley Johnson of the virtual campus. “I don't think I have the words, but please know this is so needed right now and I am beyond grateful."
