Kawaii Sushi & Asian Cuisine opens in Glendale

The Glendale Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting early this month at Kawaii Sushi & Asian Cuisine – Deer Valley, at the corner of 67th Avenue and Happy Valley Road.
The celebration lasted all day with music, performances and food. Chamber CEO Robert Heidt and board chair Maria Brunner, along with other Glendale Chamber of Commerce members, were in attendance.
Kawaii Sushi will be open 11 a.m. - 9:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m. - 10:30 p.m. on Fridays, noon-10:30 p.m. on Saturdays and noon to 9:30 p.m. on Sundays. The restaurant serves Sushi as well as cooked Asian cuisine dishes. Alcoholic drinks on the menu include beer, wine, sake and cocktails.
Kawaii Sushi has a second location at 67th Avenue and Deer Valley Road in Peoria.
