Help kids in foster care this holiday season – Give the gift of holiday spirit

Posted

Holidays can be a difficult time for kids and teens in foster care. They may be separated from all members of their biological families and have conflicting emotions about asking for gifts or participating in holiday cheer.

AASK looks to reduce this stress and anxiety with our annual Snowflake Drive which puts gift cards in $20 and $25 amounts into the hands of children in foster care and the families who care for them.

Now through December 4th, you can donate to aask-az.org/snowflake-drive and help spread holiday cheer to kids in need.

For more information on children in foster care eligible for adoption, call Aid to Adoption of Special Kids at 602.930.4900, or visit www.aask-az.org.

Editor's note: Ms. Gaieck is a copywriter at AASK - Aid to Adoption of Special Kids. She will be submitting articles regularly to the Daily Independent at YourValley.net in hopes to find children forever families.
