Depasquale: Volunteers get thanks for work

A big thank you for all the AARP tax volunteers for your time and patience in getting the seniors’ returns done.

There were a few inpatient people wanting to know why their returns were not finished after a week, but to those impatient people, if you don’t want to wait take your returns to a place that charges you. Remember, this is a free service to you at no charge, so be appreciative.

Also, even I didn’t realize it’s not just Sun City residents they are processing returns for, it’s any AARP member who wants this free service, whether you live in Surprise, Sun City West, etc.

Thanks again for your volunteers and on your way out throw something in the tip jar.
