Friends of the Library’s book sale coming to SCW

The book sale is always a big draw in Sun City West. [Submitted photo]

Join the Recreation Centers of Sun City West at the next Friends of the R.H. Johnson Library book sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, in the R.H. Johnson Social Hall, 19803 R.H. Johnson Blvd.

With so many like-new items to choose from, residents can stock up on books and movies in one stop. The book sale is a great place for holiday shopping as well.

The Friends are always accepting donations of books, puzzles, DVDs, Blu-rays, cassette tapes (books on cassette, but not music cassettes) and CDs in preparation for these huge sales. Donations may be delivered to the R.H. Johnson Library, 13801 W. Meeker Blvd., Sun City West, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

The Friends’ book sales are open to the public.

Because there are no administrative costs, all funds raised at the Friends of the Library book sales go directly into purchasing new materials for the library in Sun City West. Tables will be continuously restocked throughout the day, so items continue as the sale progresses.
