Following rules means safer driving

Too close

I’ve also been taught that when you come to a stop behind a car you should see their back tires touching the pavement. If you can’t see that, you are too close and if you get rear-ended you’ll be pushed into the car in front of you. — Theresa Stumpo

Car length

Every day I see drivers on Valley freeways following less than a car length at 70 mph. — Mark Krotz
